(RPC) Remote Procedure Call Unexpected Termination

T

Tommy Vercetti

As you all know Microsoft's Windows XP Professional has
this virus that shuts down your computer in several
seconds when you connect to the internet caused by the
termination of your computer's (RPC) or Remote Procedure
Call. Fortunately, Microsoft support center has an answer
to this problem. You just need to download a file and it
will correct the this unexpected termination. So what I
did, I downloaded the said file and double clicked it but
by the time it extracts itself and the install wizard
appears it will just disappear and I don't know why! So I
need another solution to this unexpected RPC termination.
If anybody knows just reply ASAP! Help me!!

I have the same problem.. when I try to down load the file it gets 'cut-off' with yet another PRC shutdown. I used Symentac fix and it reported the the sasser bug was found and eliminated...yet I'm still cut off after about 15 minutes use. Can't stay online long enough to download or even get info. My old '98' sits there like a rock. Any way to download to the 98, then and then transfer to the xp and run off-line?
