RPC - Remote Procedure Call - Logon and Password.....Why?

S

SAR I

x-no-archive: yes

Doing some routine maintenence on my home computer, found that on
services.msc's RPC service, under the 'properties' tab, I've got an account
called NT Authority\NetworkService with a password entered.

I don't recall setting this up.....should I be concerned?

It's my home PC, cable modem, Linksys router to notebook via WiFi. Nothing
special.

Is RPC connected to the router and my notebook or is something else going
on?

Help.

TIA

Nothing to be concerned about, it's normal.
