Bud

I am running Windows 2000 Professional on my Laptop and
have just upgraded to Outlook 2003.

Can I use RPC over http to connect to an Exchange 2003
server?

or do I have to upgrade to Windows XP first?

Bud,

It is my understanding that in order to use RPC over http the requirements are Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2003 - I do not believe the Operating System you use comes in to play as long as you have internect connectivity. The Exchange Server would need to be "setup" for RPC .

Psst... the client workstation *must* be Windows XP (SP1) with patch KB
331320 or newer. Last I heard the ability won't be ported backward to
Windows 2000.
