Outlook 2003 & RPC over HTTP

A user who kept their laptop in office all the time now wants to take it on
the road & be able to keep up with their email.
I had provided a link for Outlook Web Access, but they don't like the look
of that, so I want to set up Outlook up to use RPC over HTTP.
My questions are:
1) Can I chnage the current settings to use RPC over HTTP?
2) If I do change the settings, will it work correctly when they are in the
office?
3) or would I be better off setting up a new profile for RPC over HTTP &
have outlook ask which profile to use when starting?

Assuming that you have the Microsoft Exchange 2003/7 server configured to
support RPC/HTTPS (aka Outlook Anywhere), the answers to your questions
are...

1) Yes, you add (reconfigure) the Outlook profile with the Exchange over the
Internet settings

2) Yes.

3) No it wouldn't. It is way more confusing to the user and adds complexity
that isn't needed.
