RPC over HTTP installation

I have recently upgraded a few machines from Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2003 and
one of them didn't install the component for "RPC over HTTP" or "Exchange
over Internet" feature onto the "Connections" tab so I could configure it.

I was wondering if I can just do a custom install for that feature from the
disk instead of uninstalling and reinstalling Outlook again. If so can you
tell me where the option is when it does the installation.

Is the operating system in question at a minimum of Windows XP with Service
Pack 2?

No, I checked and he had service pack 2 on Outlook and Windows XP, plus I
remember running Microsoft Update and there were no more "high priority"
updates to be had, also its set to download and install all "priority"
updates at noon everyday. So he's good on all of that, I know there were
some optional updates to be had, but those weren't installed.

Any more ideas on this one. Any help would be appreciated, b/c I really
would hate to drive back there and reinstall since its so far away.

Try looking at the registry:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\RPC

do you see a DWORD called EnableRPCTunnelingUI ? If so, set it to a value of
1.

Also, make sure you check
HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\RPC for the same
EnableRPCTunnelingUI value. If you find it here, rename the
EnableRPCTunnelingUI DWORD or set it to a value of 1.

Those options werent' available inside the registry. I did add the first one
to the registry and it didn't change anything. I also uninstalled Outlook
and re-installed Outllook and I still don't have that option.
