I have a windows 2000 pro pc which used to connect to the
NT 4 domain with out a problem. Other computers on the
network work fine using 2000Pro, XP and 95.
The problem with the 2000pro pc is that it wont sign-onto
the network. When trying to logon I get the following
error message.
Remote Procedure Call Failed.
Then when I logon locally to the p.c and view the event
log I get the following message
The session setup to windows NT or Windows 2000 Domain
Controller for the Domain is not responsive.
The current RPC call from NETLOGON on \\computername to
the server has been cancelled.
I have run NETDIAG tool and the results come back ok.
I have changed the computer to a static IP address and
still the same Problem.
I can ping the network domain controllers and other
devices.
You can also change the computer name and when prompted
for password the password is accepted.
Hope somebody can help, its driving me crazy.
Thanks
