RPC ERROR MESSAGE

Hello,
Is anyone else having problems where they log onto the
internet and then an error message pops up saying that
the RPC was terminated and windows will shut down? I get
this every ten minutes while I am on the internet and
then my computer restarts. I have called Earthlink and
Microsoft and no one is telling me anything. Can someone
HELP PLEASE!!
