Roxio Easy Media Creator Slide Show

I have used Roxio EMC (the DVD Builder protion of EMC) to make a DVD from
photos from a recent trip. Everything works fine except when I play the DVD
on the TV, not all of the picture shows on the TV. When I play the DVD on my
PC, it looks great. Both my PC and TV screen have a 4 x 3 ratio, so I can't
figure out why the picture is "too big" for the TV screen and fits perfectly
on my PC screen. I am using the NTSC format for the DVD.

Anyone have any helpful suggestions?

TVs generally have some amount of overscan. This is used to hide picture
distortion that often occurs near the edges of the scan. Is this the
possible cause? The overscan can be about an inch on some TVs.

On our 27 inch TV, I would guess that about an inch was lost on all four
sides (2 inches vertical and two inches horizontal). I tried playing the DVD
on another (newer) TV and it was the same way. I had put titles at the
bottoms of the pictures and none of the titles show. Frustrating.
