Row Height

I cannot make the row height autofit work.
I have "wrap text" enabled.
I have no merged cells to my knowledge. (How can I check this?
By the way, it does seem to work in the first row (the headings).

To check for merged cells

Select a problem row
format|Cells|alignment tab
Is that Merge cells box empty.

If it's checked, then all the cells in the selection are merged. If it's a grey
checkmark (green box?), then some of the cells in the selection are merged and
some are not.

I checked and there are no merged cells anywhere.

I may have answered my own question (took me all morning).
I now realize that you cannot "wrap' and "autofit" and then re-size the
columns and expect the text to wrap and the rows to autosize.
You must "autofit" the rows after resizing the column(s) and after the text
wraps within the re-sized columns (portions of the text dissapear until after
one clicks "Autofit Rows").
Problem solved.
