Hello, I'm trying to set up a direct connection. But I'm
having problems creating the Host. A window pops up saying
the Routing and Remote Acces service isn't responding.
What does this mean? I tried a few things, but nothing
works. I usually set up direct connections to transfer
files from PC to PC at home, I can't understand why it
isn't working now. Can anybody help me?

Thanks,
Luis.

Thanks,

Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services section. Navigate to the
Routing and Remote Access Service, right click, select properties, set
startup to Automatic, then click the Start button.

Luis,

which operating system is that? What kind of direct connection
is it?

RRAS is a server component that is not used on workstation
operating systems.
