router's firewall

I have a linksys wireless router with 4 port switch and I am trying to host
a game on xbox tunnel. The built in firewall want let me host but I can join
other games. I want to be able to host a game. Is there a way to fix the
router so that the computer thinks it is a hub or a way to disable the
firewall?

Determine which port you need forwarded and then go into the router setup
and forward the correct port to the computer's nonroutable IP that you wish
to use to host the game.
Your connection to the Internet is through the router, so outgoing is OK.
But incoming stops at the router unless you forward the requests to the
correct computer.
