router Question

Bill

Hello,

I have a Belkin 4 port Router that keeps cutting out for some reason so I am
thinking of upgrading and buying a wireless one and what I want to know is,
what type do I need? Is it true that there are different speeds of router?
On the blueyonder website they ofer 2 choices a cheap version for standard
use and a more expensive one for watching movies from your PC to your TV
which I believe is faster. I am going to a computer fair soon and I'm sure I
can buy one cheaper from there but I'd like to know what to look for before
I go. I'm not sure what the Mbps is and what figure of Mbps I need. My son
has a PS2 which I will be linking up to and he plays online with that so
I'll need a fast one I think. Can anyone offer me any advice please?

Thanks a lot.

I had a Belkin, it stunk. I like Netgear. D-link is well thought of.
