Why is Excel automatically rounding up the total of a column of numbers?

Hi Rachel!
Are you sure that it's rounding up and not showing a total based upon
the formatting of the cell?

Is this the autosum function your talking about??
If it isnt then ignore my message
Autosum doesnt have any rounding off arguments in it so it shouldnt be giving
you any problems. First of all id make sure the cell is big enough because it
wont autosize to fit the answer in. If that doesnt work then go to
fomat...cells click number tab select number on list and check how many decimal
points the answer is to. It will be set at the default value and will not
change if its trying to sum an answer with more decimal places in it.
