Hi

I am creating a traffic light system to flag up certain values in a field, i
am using a continuous report so will need to use conditional formatting to
change the colour of the fields. I was wondering if it is possible to have
round fields rather than square ones? If not is there anyway to make my
fields look round?

Cheers

Daniel,
Not that I'm aware of... but, try a web search under "Microsoft Access" and "circle"
and/or "ActiveX" and/or "Custom controls" etc...
Also, try Lebans web site. He has something called "Circle Text", but... I have no
idea if it has any relevance to this problem.

Have you considered a workable compromise...?
If you could use a small colored box instead, (I'm assuming traffic = Red/Green/Yellow)
an unbound text control could change BG color using conditional formatting... according to
the value of some field.
Just for kicks, I could envision a black rectangle with 3 small square text controls
enclosed, one alternating from black to red... one black to green... one black to
yellow...like a small 3 light traffic light.
