Rotating an inserted movie

The movie file I insert appears ok but the window (and display) needs to be
rotated 90 degrees. I took the movie in portrait orientation to get more
height but it has been flipped on its side and appears as landscape
orientation. I've inserted the movie as "movie" and as an "object" with the
same result.
Should I just reshoot in landscape orientation?
Thanks for any help

PowerPoint can't rotate a video, it simply plays what ever is handed to it.
You'll need to pre-process it before inserting into PowerPoint.
