How do you rotate an object file?

I'm working in 0ffice 2003 PP. I'm preparing a presentation using some Adobe
PDF files of drawings for the various project. They are coming in as portrait
and the rotation icon is grayed out. I'm trying to rotate to a landscape
orientation for viewing. Could anyone offer assitance?

How are you bringing in the PDFs?
