Does anyone know how to rotate the video in Movie Maker?
I took a short video in portrait mode with my camera and it plays sideways.

Thanks,
BillM

In MM2, you import the clip, add it to the storyboard, and then add one of
the effects like "rotate 90"

Hi there,

You should edit your pictures using whatever photo or image program that
you have before incorporating them into your movie.

You can use the rotate option in Movie Maker, but it will always reduce the
quality of your picture...try it and see how your picture shrinks.

It's video, not a picture. Will the quality still be reduced?

Thanks,
BillM

Hi there,

Well yes. What was the width of the original will become the height in the
new etc etc...the result will be a smaller picture displayed within the
same frame you would have had if you had not rotated it. Try it and see.
The option is in the Effects section, and its called something like Rotate
90

Hi Malcolm,

Yes your thoughts are spot on...It was what I was telling BillM to
do....you maybe missed the earlier messages on this.
