Rotate OLE Objects in Report

Matt

I have a databse with an embedded Powerpoint drawing. As
you may be aware, Powerpoint defaults to a landscape
format when creating slides. This also is the easiest
way to create the drawing as we need it to be wider,
rather than long.

Point being, is there any way to insert an ole object
into a report but ROTATE it 90 degrees? It would be much
better to print that particular item in landscape
format. However, it's embedded into an existing report
that is portrait mode.

Should I have this as a subreport in landscape mode, and
then insert it into the report as a subreport?

Matt:

There's no way to shift layout (i.e. portrait to landscape) within a report
or by using subreports. A subreport takes on the characteristics of the
main report related to orientation and other page layout when it is printed
or previewed. The only way to resolve this is to use two reports.

If you need to merge the reports into one document that you might try
outputting them to PDF files and then merging those into one document. (Our
PDF and Mail Library, Pro and Pro Plus editions can automate that for you if
necessary.)
