Rotate an object as an effect

We have objects grouped together and need to be able to select a rotation point and have the grouped object rotate around that point as an effect. We need to be able to specify how far it rotates at any given time, and which direction it rotates in. Essentially as the object moves from right to left we want to rotate it a few degrees to show a changing viewpoint. We ahve tried many combinations of effects and have been unable to accomplish this. Help would be appreciated

This can be prearranged in the edit mode, if you have PowerPoint 2002 or
2003.

To alter the 'pivot point', add a transparent object and position it so
that, when grouped with the other objects, the exact center of the entire
group is your pivot point.

The Emphasis animation called Spin allows for a custom number of degrees for
an object to be turned (clockwise or counter clockwise).
