How to rotate an object to see an object behind it

I have two exact objects on top of each other. I want to collapse the top
object and stretch the bottom object to reval the bottom object. The
appearence should be like flipping an item over to see the back of it. Can
someone help me with the timing and order. I am collapsing the top while
stretching the bottom and it doesnt resemble an exact rotation. What am I
missing?

Are you using Collapse across for the "top" object? How about Expand for the
bottom object? Here's an example for timing:

1. Top object Collapse, Across, start 0 sec, end 1 sec (Fast)
2. Bottom object start at .8 sec, end 1.5 sec.

Maybe you could also try:

Front shape > Exit >Collapse across
Back shape : entrance >Stretch -After Previous

The two items really need to be the same shape.
