Is there a way I can insert Roman numerals into Word after a person's name,
as in John Doe II? I searched Word Help but did not find anything. I use the
Arial font and use two capital i's, and it does not look good, to me anyway.
I have Word 2002, Windows XP.

Thanks, Jeanne

Jeanne,

Check out the "Symbol" dialog box under the Insert menu. I looked and found
some Roman Numerals, however they didn't look good to me, but you might find
them OK or you might find something else in the symbols that will do.

Hope this helps

Have you tried using New Times Roman font for your Roman Numerals? You can
highlight your Roman Numerals in which ever font your document is created
in (in your case Arial), and then select New Times Roman from the Font drop
down list in your tool bar. Then, after you've created your Roman Numeral in
New Times Roman, reselect the Arial Font from the Font drop down menu and
continue typing.
