Kathy,
I've hit this one before. What I do to work around the problem is to split
the names into two (or three) boxes, lay them over top of each other, and
animate them to run one after the other. It turns out that there is a limit
to how far the box can scroll, so you run into problems if the list is too
long.

I, too, am trying to format rolling credits. I am using Power Point 2003.
The text box seems to let me enter an unlimited number of names, yet when I
play the slide show, only half of what I have entered scrolls through. I
have played with the timing, margins, font size.. But I am a determined
"novice".
