ROKOP AV software review

i'm currently evaluating NOD32 (shareware version) but according to this
review, it doesn't do that well overall against several other AV products. i
like NOD32 for it's fast scan engine but i'm concerned about it's "low"
scores--it didn't score 100% in any category and its 80.3% in the P2P / IRC
Worms is especially alarming. It's the lowest of all reviewed.

i want an AV program with a fast scan engine but also one that has an
excellent detection rate. perhaps i'd be better off with Kapersky but i
heard its scan engine is rather slow.

any comments?

McAfee is faster than KAV I believe. Try them (or F-Secure) first. If
you insist on making compromises for something faster, F-prot is an
excellent all-around product. Your best bet though is to learn how to
operate safely without realtime scanning. Then scan speed becomes far
less significant to you.

I have been using Kapersky AV for a couple of weeks as it has got good
reviews. It does take a while to do a scan but surley that mens it is doing
a thougher job. Anyway I am pleased with it.
