Rogue Diallers

Hi
To all those in the UK I would advise downloading the new BT privacy
online software. It's only a small download and it will alert you if a
dialler trys to dial out a number that you have not authorised so
stopping premium calls.
I think at last British Telecom are waking up to the threat, they say
they are stopping hundreds of premium calls a week with this
software.By the way it's free, called "BT Privacy online"
I've nothing to do with the firm I just feel a lot more happy knowing
the premium diallers are stopped. It's a growing menace in the UK with
bills running into hundreds of pounds that the subsciber has to pay
for.Hope it helps.

Agreed but any help will be of benifit to the enormous amount of
people it has stopped from running up huge bills.I feel safer with it
installed.Not the answer I know but it's a start.

A start, but in which direction. They'd be much better off copying some
of the US ISPs and giving out free anti-spytools, even bundling them
with their own software.
