Roaming profile Using Different Outlook Versions

We have Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2003 in our Domain and users are mainly
using roaming profile.
We found that if an Outlook 2000 user logon to the Outlook 2003 machine, the
Outlook 2003 will behave differently.
For example, the folder list will show ?? instead of the name of the
mailbox, and the Delegates button on the Options menu is gone, and the GAL
cannot be resolve.
Is there anything we can do about it?

"If users roam between computers that have different versions of Outlook
installed, compatibility issues are likely to arise. For example, new
features in Outlook 2003 are not available to users with Outlook 2002
profiles, which can create confusion for users roaming in an environment
with a mix of Outlook versions."

Is there any work-around?
Can we setup 2 profile, one for Outlook 2000 and the other for Outlook 2003?
We don't have the resource to upgrade all 500 desktop at one go, the mix
version of Outlook in our environment will seems to be last for another 6
months time. What do you suggest?

Perhaps if you use two separate Windows users, one for each Outlook. Of
course, you won't be able to log in with either username on the same PC
because only one version of Outlook can be installed on any one PC.
