Roamin profiles

Hi All,

Please could someone explain the concept of roaming profiles. When a user
logs on to a domain and his roaming profile comes down from the server to the
client machine when logging off does the profile stay on the client machine
as well as on the server and does it get syncronized at any point.

Any information would be greatly received.

Yes, if you don't disable that w/group policy

and does it get
syncronized at any point.

Not sure what you mean by synchronized - the profile will be updated on the
server when the user logs out.
