RIS Optiplex 280 Problem... Windows 2000 SP4

I am trying to RIS an Optiplex 280 computer with windows 2000 SP4. I added
the 3rd party drivers like Microsoft tells you to do with the gigabit NIC.
And it looks like that part is working fine. I can copy all the system files
to the computer I'm try copy the image to.

I can make the image, and use it, and it works fine for a few hours. But
after a few hours, I get this INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE error. The files copy
OK and everything looks fine. But when the computer reboots and starts to run
the SIF file I get the blue screen with that error.

It's as if something changes a few hours after I make the image and that's
screwing it up...

Thanks for any help.

Sorry about all the posts... I'm posting via the microsoft web site, and it
gave me error messages after I hit post. I thought it did not post so I typed
the message again, and postted again.

Again sorry about all the posts...

Jeff,

It sounds like the there is a SCSI controller on the machine. Is this
correct? If so, then you will need to set those as 3rd party drivers.

Nope, no SCSI... But it does have SATA.

What's weird is it will RIS fine for a few hours, then stops... So some of
the computers get the driver and everthing is happy...

I'll try adding the driver right now. And let you know what happens...

Thanks!
