RIS and Asus A7N8X motherboard

I'm having some trouble getting an image to deploy to an Asus A7N8X rev 2.00
motherboard (BIOS 1010). The various remote installation setup screens are
displayed after the PXE boot but as soon as the setup starts and displays
detecting hardware configuration the screen flashes with muliple random
colours and characters and then locks up. I'm presuming this is a hardware
issue but with which hardware I'm not sure. Has anyone had any success
deploying Windows Xp/2000 to this motherboard? Also has anyone got
suggestion about to resolve this other than using another motherboard.

Well I've installed win2k on this mobo, without any probs, allthough using
the win cd.

Yeah we're having no trouble with installing windows from the cd, it is just
the RIS install that crashes.

It seems like the problem we are experiencing is very similar to symptoms
described in this knowledgebase article:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;839712
with the exception that we're using Windows Server 2003 SP1 as our RIS
server which, according to this article, should mean that we shouldn't
experience thus problem.

Any further thoughts anyone?
