This probably isn't the place for this, but usenet is my only choice.
CNET has a review process, but you must create an account, and right
now it isn't working. I just supplied an email address (so they can
sell it to spammers) for the account creation and the process failed
(site error). CNET doesn't want to know.
I downloaded AVG antivirus and the installer failed. As the the
installation is incomplete, I have 25+ meg of garbage on my laptop
hard drive and no way to remove it all. Together with the hastle of
CNET site failures, I am out almost a half-day of my time.
I have held a teaching position in an accredited Computer Science
department so I am not a rookie and these errors ARE NOT my own.
