Right Shared Border Problems

I have tried to add shared borders and they work correctly except for on my
index page. The left border shows up but the right border will not appear on
the index page when viewing the site, but it does appear in Frontpage.

I've read some of the postings...about applying it to the index...and
recalulating. How do you apply it? And I have recalculated. It still does
not show up.

Any advice???Thanks

Am I corect in thinking you're using an external FTP program to publish?

If so, be sure to publish your index page, plus teh entire contents of the
hidden _derived, _fpclass, and _themes folders.

No, I am using Frontpage to publish the site. I open the web page to be
transferred and click on Publish site.

With your index open, format/shared borders and make sure you have applied
the border to that page. Then tools/recalculate.

As indicated in the previous post, I have checked that these are applied to
the index and reccalculate....still no go.

Also, the right border DOES appear on the other pages...just not on the INDEX
page.
thanks

FYI,
This webpage was from a previous version (97)....I deleted the index page,
and redid a new index page....and it works now!
