Right clicking on drive causes window to open slowly

I have noticed recently, that when I right click on a
drive in the my computer window, it takes more than a
minute for the window open on my machine. I've got a
2.66GHz pentium IV running Windows XP Professional. I've
tried defraging the drive, and cleaning out the temp
files to no avail. This drive also has plenty of room as
well. This behavior occurs no matter which hard drive,
CD/DVD drive, ZIP drive or CF card drive that I right
click. Has anyone else experienced this behavior? Does
anyone have a clue as to how to clear up this problem?

Thnaks,

I'm having the same thing happen. If I right click on any
object it hangs for about 30-60 seconds, then pops up.
I've tried disabling NORTON but still same thing. No CPU
usage increase or anything, just hang.
