right click unable to delete

I right mouse click on a file and the mouse busy
indicator appears.

The only way to proceed is to shut down the computer or
go to task manager and end task and sometimes I don't
need to restart.

Is there a fix
 
Might want to try updating the mouse drivers from the manufacturer of the
mouse.
Does the same thing happen in safe mode? To get here, tap F8 when the
computer is starting and choose safe mode from the list.
Does the same thing happen when you try another user on the computer?
