right click problems

hi can any one help me? when I right click the menu takes ages to appear,
about 20 seconds or more some times. this a pain when I'm in a bit of rush.
the pc is a AMD Athlon 2.22 GHz 500 MB of RAM. Please help Russ.

Hi,

It's due to one of the context menu entries, you may need to remove one.
These are the registry keys you will find them in, but many programs will
have their own options to disable them.

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\OpenWithList
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shellex
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers

Make sure you backup the keys before making any changes.
