Right-Click | New Options.....

Glenn

Hello,

I am a fairly advanced user and do plenty of tweaking to
my system. I am familiar with editing the registry and
do it regularly as needed.

One issue which is bothersome which I cannot determine
how to fix: Right clicking the desktop, the context
menu "new" often has entries I do not want. I use this
to create new folders and shortcuts and several other
object types, but several selections are unwanted
(briefcase, .wav files, and others file types that are
installed by applications). How do I edit this list to
remove unwanted file types?

Thanks in advance,
Glenn

Thank you Frank!

I knew I had done this in the past, for the life of me I
couldn't find where in the registry this was. I must
have done it on my older systems using the TweakUI applet.

Have a good one,
Glenn
