Is there a way to remove a right-click menu option
manually?

IE: Say I wish to remove the 'Open'option or the 'Explore'
option.

I ask because something has planted itself as a command on
the right click menu that I can't get rid of. I've deleted
the malicious program associated with the file and the
option is still there when I right click on the icons on
my desktop.

Pretend that when you click this command it runs:

malprog.exe

Use regedit to search for malprog.exe
