I am also having this problem. And it seems to have
affected all of the computers within our peer to peer
network. All running windows 2000. We are also unable to
open Norton Anti virus. I would assume this is a virus but
I cannot find any info on Symantec's web site relating to
this issue.

Hopefully I will get more info and post it here for all.

I have the same problem. It showed up on my wife's
computer on 01/07/04 in the afternoon. When my computer
was checked this morning (01/08/04), it also had the same
problem.

We both have Win2K w/ SP4 and SystemWorks 2003.
