Rich text vs. html for emails

Hello,
an hour ago I posted a problem that I have when printing emails (see the
question posted below). Just now I noticed that the emails that had the
problem opened in "HTML" format. When I printed another set of
emails, they opened in "RICH TEXT" format, and I had no problem with
the date.
Is it possible to change the way the emails open? Could I open a HTML
email in RICH TEXT, so I don't have that date problem when I print the
email?

Please, any suggestions are appreciated.

By the way, I use MS XP and outlook XP.

This is my previous question:

Hello,

I have some older outlook emails on my harddisk that I need to print.
I currently use Outlook express for my email, but use MS outlook for
contacts.

When I doubleclick on the outlook email, it opens with MS outlook. Then
I print it, and on the bottom of the page it prints today's date (on the top
it also had a header that included the page number). I went to check page
setup, and deleted the header and footer fields. The header disappeared,
but the date stayed there.

What else can I do to get rid of that date? Any ideas?

Thank you very much in advance.
