RGB on X800 AGP

I have just purchased an X800GT AGP card which comes with a scart socket
attached (not one of those cheap 3 connector adaptors). The info on the
retailers site clearly states this card does RGB via Scart. Has anyone
managed to get this working. The picture quality on my TV looks dreadful. I
am sure it is only composite. I bought this card for the sole purpose of
running XPMCE onto my 60 inch rear projection 16:9 TV. (Not HD) but so far
it is useless for that. An old VCR in gives a better picture. Thanks Chris

Hi there,

I have not used this product but can confirm from my own research with
several dealers sites, branded ATI cards and ATI's own site that the SCART
on your card can indeed carry RGB.

Instructions appear thin on the ground, but I'd have thought that once the
TV is connected the adjustments are available in the ATI control panel
under "Displays" - it is my belief that RGB is not enabled by default,
though S-Video may be. It occured to me that the card may detect RGB
capability from the TV socket, though this thought is a stab in the dark.
