revising automatic formatting?

Does anyone know how to add 1/3 and 3/4 fractions to the automatic formatting
so as you're typing the number will get small (like the 1/2 and 1/4 show up)?
I'm typing recipes and it would be very helpful if those fractions were
recognized just like the 1/2 and 1/4 are now.

Please give me instructions how to add these fractions to the automatic
formatting. Thanks!
