ok guys sorry i screwed some things up in my first post with this question. I
have an @msn.com mail account wich i can access through windows live hotmail
that works fine no problems. When im on craigslist or anyother web site that
has a link to contact them, i get a prompt to either log on to my pop3
account. or now the latest one after following howards advice. A log in box
appears that has the little keys in the upper left corner and it says
loginnet passport.com and i have no idea what program this is for never seen
it before untill i got my new dell with vista. Ive called dell before and all
i have gotten from there support is stupid people in india who really dont
speak english and they have no idea what im talking about. is there a place
in my settings somewhere wher i can manually make windows live hot mail my
default e mail account? if thats the best way to go or???? im having trouble
trying to find it and change it on my own. hopefully this clarifies my
problem and somone has the answer for me thanks

thanks gary i did this yesterday and it fixed the pop3 message but now the
other one tha loginnet passport.com one comes up. so????? im thinking i need
something else

Can you show us the entire error message instead of just your summary
of it? We sometimes need parts of it you wouldn't expect.

Fill in the email account and password of your Windows Live ID. Passport =
Windows Live ID.
