Depends on whether one was created as an alias of the other. If it was,
trying to download from one will get all the mail for both.

If you have separate accounts on the email server (not aliases) you can
create two separate user accounts under Vista, and in the Windows Mail
setup for each one, tell it about only the account on the email server it
should use.

I also have two user accounts on my computer. Each account has a different
incoming mail (pop3) address and I was able to get each one to come in
separately. However, if both accounts have the same incoming mail (pop3)
address, I don't know how you could do it. In my case, first I went into
tools/options/general tab and changed how often I wanted the computer to
send and receive new messages from my normal every 1 minute to 30 minutes
(just so nothing would come through while I was testing). (I believe if you
want to always manually check for mail yourself, you would make sure this
box is not checked.) Then I went to tools/send and receive. I have the
following choices to choose from: send and receive all, receive all, send
all, account #1's incoming mail pop3 address, and account #2's incoming mail
pop3 address. By selecting the account #1's pop 3 address, it only checked
that account for any new messages. Then when I selected the account #2's
pop3 address, it checked that one. It is a manual step, but it worked.
Hope this is helpful to you.

I create a new folder and use a Message Rule like this:

Apply this rule after the message arrives
Where the message is from the mail.fjsmjs.com account
Move it to the fjsmjs folder
and Stop processing more rules

Yes, you can have two accounts using the same POP server. The
server distinguishes between the two by means of the unique username.
Incidentally, account names in Windows Mail are strictly cosmetic,
meaning you can change them to anything you want. It has no effect
on the sending or receiving of mail.
