reverts to 16 bit color

I installed and used Tweak UI, and after I did so, my monitor reverts
to 16 bit color about half of the time on start up. I reset it, and
it is not a huge problem, but I would like to fix it. Can I use
regedit to set the color setting to 32 and have it stay there?

Does anyone know why or how Tweak UI has done this and made it happen
so irregularly?
