Reverting to Previously saved Web Pages

Can it be done?
I stuffed up, and now it's gone
Help please lost about 3 or 4 days work, so if you could
help it'd be rugged as!

Only if you have copy on a remote server (w/FP extensions) or a local backup copy of the web.

Unless you saved the page elsewhere you're probably
stuffed. If you saved a backup copy, then fine. Or did
you publish your work in the meantime? If so you can copy
that page back to your local machine again.

Use Windows explorer and navigate to: C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\FrontPageTempDir
If you haven't deleted the FrontPage temp files, you should find a bunch of
files named wpe####.tmp with #### being numbers.
These are the copies FrontPage uses for it's undo feature when you are editing
web pages.
Set the folder to detail view and it should show the date and times these were
edited.
You will have to copy them, rename them with the .htm extension and then open
them one by one, and then rename them again to the appropriate page if they are
what you're looking for.
