Reverting to a previously saved version of a workbook

Is it possible to revert to a previously saved version of
a workbook in Excel 2000 (Windows ME)? I inadvertently
saved a file over another file. Please help!

That is how we all learn about the need to make backups

There's an option on the file|SaveAs dialog that you may want to start using:

File|SaveAs|Tools|General Options| (xl2002 wording)
File|SaveAs|Options (in earlier versions)

There's an "always create backup" checkbox that you can check.

(It might be useful in the future--not so useful for your current problem.)
