Reverting back to Win Msgs 4.7

I want to go back to messenger 4.7, because i dont want
any integration with outlook. Is there any way to do this,
I have tried reinstalling messenger using windows setup,
but it didnt work, bearing in mind I have disabled system
restore.

Hi JS,

Windows Messenger 4.7 will go to Hotmail, only if you're using an active Hotmail.com/MSN.com
passport. If you are using a Hotmail.com/MSN.com Passport, you can check that it is active
by going to http://www.hotmail.com, logging in and trying to get to the Inbox. If your
account isn't active, you'll be given a chance to reactivate it. If you did need to
reactivate it, you'll need to sign out and back in to Messenger to see the e-mail
notifications.

As well, you can "force" Hotmail to be your default mail handler by opening Internet
Explorer, click the Tools menu, then Internet Options, Programs tab, and choosing Hotmail on
the E-mail heading.
