Does anyone know how to make a folder "normal" once it
has been opened as a web? We have several students who
can't seem to remember what folder to open as a web in
class, and they always seem to open regular folders as
webs, thereby adding files to every subdirectory under
it. Thanks for any help you can give!

Slap'em over the nose with a rolled up newspaper :-)
They should always Open Web.
One of the gurus may have a better answer...I just couldn't resist :-)

Hi Janey,

If you right click the folder you can convert it back to a standard folder.

Hey Mike...Thanks a ton and thanks, Crash Gordon for the
other suggestion! However Mike, I know you can do that
in 2003, but what about FP 2002? I didn't see that
choice there. Just curious.

Thanks again!

Same choices in FP2000 / FP2002 as FP2003
In any root web, right click a subweb (in Folder List) to convert to folder
- or convert a folder to web

Note: Converting to a folder will remove all web specific data (navigation, theme, parameters, etc.)
