reverse a pivot table

I am using Excel 2003, I was sent a excel document as an attachment with a
pivot table, the original data to which the pivot table was linked was not
attached, is there a way to get the data back to just coloumns, I don't care
about formatting. I just need it out of the pivot table.

Double-click on the Grand Total cell, and it should create a sheet with
all the underlying records for that total.

Have you tried double-clicking on the grand total at the bottom corner
of the pivot. If the entire dataset is included, this should give you
a new worksheet, with all the underlying data.
