Returned email error

Hi there

I have a user trying to email an external address and they are getting the
following error coming back:

"The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

--------------------------

A configuration error in the e-mail system caused the message to bounce
between two servers or to be forwarded between two recipients."

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards

HI Helen

This is usually because the user does not exist on the mail server, and all
unknown mail is forwarded to another smtp server for delivery, it is a
problem with companies using a "POP3 catchall" account that is picked up and
distributed with an exchange server (or similar)

basically it is just an email address that does not exist
