Return to A1 when reopening

I have a workbook containing 5 worksheets. It is edited by 30 people
from a shared drive at work. How do I set it up so that when it is
opened it always returns to cell A1 on the first sheet ( and not to the
point of the last edit) so that I can ensure that users see any new
data there ?

You can use a macro:

Option Explicit
Sub Auto_Open()
application.goto worksheets(1).range("a1"), scroll:=true
end sub

Thanks Dave,
The thing is, we've been having trouble with Macros, and they've been
banned. I was hoping there was a tick-box somewhere in the settings or
options.

I think you'll have to select the cell before saving or use a macro.

I don't know of any other way.
