I'm using Excel 2010 and I've inherited a workbook containing many tabs andeach tab contains a graphical floorplan. When I click on a room to one of the floor plans it jumps me to a distant spreadsheet where I can read more about that room. It works well but now I must make some edits and that is where the problem creeps in. I have to change some of the hyperlinks and this is what I'm finding.
I right-click on a room and select "Edit Hyperlink". The Edit Hyperlink window appears but in the "Type the cell reference" box it says "A1." The listwindow below it shows me a list of every spreadsheet in the workbook. All attempts to edit any part of this dialog are futile. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this issue? Unfortunately I cannot contact the creator of the workbook. Thank you very much.

On the left hand column you select "Place In This Document".

When you bring that dialog/selection box up, Scroll Up the little box,
and there you will find "cell reference".

The default view is slightly scrolled down, and most people miss the
scroll bar on the right edge of that 'window'. I did.
